Great few years to say the least. During divorce I took on the heloc that went with my house ( now forclosed ) it was in my ex's name only. Paid on while I could. I included that in my BK due to our decree that said I was responsible. Brought all the papers to my attorney ect. The company for the heloc much stopped collections and trying to get the 50k from him for awhile. Found out my attorney F'ed up and never turned in a document ( a financial class that I took online ) and my case was closed ready for all debitors to start collecting. Out of nowhere and years later after first collection contact , they seized his checking account. I feel horrible because I had no idea. I guess my question is , if this is only in his name but through our decree it is my responsibility , can it not be put in my BK ? Seems to me until my attorney screwed up , it was being processed through. Found out from the courts when I ed that my case was closed Oct last year. don't tell me to the douchebag bk lawyer. When I did he asked me why I cared , it shouldn't matter , it's all on my ex. Well my ex pays support and has my part time. I do not want him to have his wages garnished and lose his / the house and all his income. I am sick to my stomache. Lonely lady wants sex black white dating her. It's just humans *are* capable of being attracted to, even loving, more than one person at once. Romantics like to pretend that's not the case. But it is. don't confuse feelings with license or even imperative to act. Whenever you get a stiffie for the office hottie, just laugh at yourself and say, isn't life wonderful? Accept it as natural, and move on. If this temptation is too much for you, use your sensible to make some sensible decisions. Do what you can to end your interaction with the hottie or at least limit it. Perhaps most of all, redesign your marriage. I suspect the two of you are so busy running "successful" lives, it really does feel like you're business partners. I personally believe a marriage works best when the partners don't work too much outside the home, preferably one is a homemaker. One or both of you need to make a whole lot more downtime in your lives, for recreation and beauty, and to recharge your relationship. Sex might not always feel dangerous and peak excitement. But it can feel deeply satisfying a whole life. AND the can be so immediate and obvious that hotties pale by comparison. But it takes a husband and wife, not a coupla go-go-getters.
